Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy for Texans
Hi there. I’m Crystalyn and I’m a psychotherapist and counselor that specializes in Internal Family Systems therapy.
I help helpers and creatives of marginalized communities to bridge the gap from feelings of inadequacy, worry, burnout, frustration, and overwhelm to a place with more balance and harmony.
In therapy we will work together to find the core place within yourself that holds confidence, courage, clarity, and creativity that can give you what you need to create internal change that allows you to go out into the world and make the difference you want to make without sacrificing yourself to the point of defeat.
We will make sense of what has you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, in fear, and frustrated.
We’ll clarify where you’d like things to be like in your life, so you can find clarity, relief, and the balance you want to do what is important to you in your life, to be available to yourself and others without burnout.
Then, we’ll work together to find healing for you in the space between where you are and where you want to be…
If I’m guessing right, along with your hope for relief, you may also have a voice in the back of your head saying you don’t have time for this right now, or perhaps there’s a feeling of selfishness for focusing on yourself when there are so many other things to focus on in your life.
I hear that. It’s one of the reasons we spend time at the beginning of our therapeutic relationship clarifying what your goals are and the stuckpoints that get between you and your goals, so I can help you stay focused on the work you really want to do, from session to session. I also know that finding internal relief will create more room for you to be available in other areas of your life with more balance and less burnout.
Join me in therapy so you can make sense of what feels stuck, connect with your true center of confidence, and connect the space between where you are and where you’d like to be.
